Match Summary
Despite dominating the match with strong performances all over the field and hitting the bar twice, our team was unable to score, but we remain encouraged by our display and aim to maintain this level of play in the next game.
A performance from us that had everything but the goals today. Probably one of our best all season. We made their keeper work harder than Harry had to, and hit the bar twice.
Performance levels were very good across all areas of the pitch and we played some good football on a tricky pitch too. Solid at the back, lots of positive possession and we looked threatening in attack too. All the lads did exactly what we asked of them and their effort and attitude was great.
I think their back 4 limited the space we had, on a narrower pitch, to get around and behind them. However, we kept going and we thought we could have nicked the win right up to the end.
But we move onto next week, where we want exactly the same level of performance.
There were a few contenders for refs PoM. He said Harry Willerton and Seth impressed him, but felt JJ was excellent in midfield.
