The boys drew 1-1 against Leeds despite dominating the match, with Connor Platts scoring a penalty and being named man of the match alongside Nate Green.
Away trip to Leeds for the boys this week.we started well putting Leeds under pressure with a barrage of attacks but it never quite landed fo the boys but we kept going whipping corners in for them always to land safe for Leeds. Leeds had a break which Vinny made a great 1v1 save. With Nate supplying the throwins and Connor battling hard all over the pitch we knew it was only a matter of time and early in the second half Connor won a penalty from a late high challenge which he slotted home to go 1-0 up. Again the pressure was kept on and we came close to add more goals but it never came. Leeds had an attack which resulted in a corner late into the game ball was whipped in and came loose only for it to land at Leeds player feet who tapped home to make it 1-1 luc definitely not on our side today and the boys came away feeling hard done to with a draw which wasn’t deserved at all but that’s football. We go again next week.
