Rotherham 3-1 Doncaster
After a slow start after 4 weeks without a game the girls went behind agaisnt the run of play to a well taken goal. The girls carried on and got back to level terms with a ball upfield from out keeper with lily j beating the keeper to the ball to poke home. It was pretty much one way traffic from that point. Lily j making it 2-1 before half time with a ball over the top from our centre half lily J again beating and rounding the keeper to tap into an empty net.
One way traffic through the 2nd half but couldn’t put away the chances. Doncaster with free kicks from distance causing no real threat. Wit a few minutes to go Lilly b grabbed our deserved 3rd with a driven shot across the keeper giving her no chance.
Refs player of the match went to Lilly b. Excellent all night creating chances crosses hitting the post aswel. Played on the right for a period of time cutting inside creating shooting opportunities and playing balls inbehind.
