Match Summary
The team overcame a slow start to win 6-1, with standout performances from Harry Blagg, Elijah Omokaro, and James Wood, advancing to the final in April at Alfreton.
A slow start this morning as the lads adjusted to the formation but it didn’t take long before we started creating chances.
A first goal came when Harry Blagg played Ollie Black in for a solid finish. We then hit the post a couple of times before Ollie cut back for Elijah Omokaro who hit home with his second shot.
After half time we dominated and played some lovely football. The third goal game from Denzell Gordon who curled in straight from a corner. A great cross from Elijah found its way to Jacob Watson who hit home from close range.
We got a little carried away and we got caught on the break, keeper Ryan Staniland was a little unlucky as he clashed with the attacker who slotted home. We then hit the post a couple more times before Harry scored from distance.
Elijah was provider again, playing another good ball to Harry who finished well to make it 6-1.
We move into the final which will be played in April at Alfreton.
Man of the Match was James Wood. The ref thought he was immense at the back. He won every header today.
