Yorkshire League
What a great effort from the girls tonight, every single one of them!
Understandably we took a few minutes to settle into the game, which was no surprise given the time off all the girls have had. But from then on we took control of the game. Some great interplay on the edge of their box created the first two goals, we battled for the third, scored a long range effort for the fourth and a great cross and finish for the fifth.
Inbetween we played good football, passing the ball around well, we defended excellently throughout and limited York to very few chances.
It’s also nice to be home at a time when we’d usually be playing!
