Rssb 4 Harrogate 3
well we don’t get off to the best start conceding early to a great spin and finish from their striker but the boys kept working hard and created many chances but couldn’t find the net until Archie knocked home to equalise. Rotherham kept the pressure on but some scrappy play lead to Harrogate going infront 2-1 against the run of play. It wasn’t long and Freddie Robbo intercepted a loose Harrogate pass and struck the ball from 30yards leaving the keeper no chance as the ball rocketed into the top corner to equalise. Half time came and the boys were asked to tidy things up and keep pressing and try and be more clinical infront of goal as the game should have been home and dry with all the chances the boys created.
2nd half it was another great footballing half for the neutral with the game neck and neck but it was Harrogate who went 3-2 up with some sloppy defending leaving them to hit home a rebounded shot. Rotherham never gave up with Archie causing problems after been moved to striker and he got his reward with a well worked goal to equalise 3-3!! Rotherham played some nice football then
up steps Freddie mason with a driving run into the box and slotted home to lead 4-3 with minutes to go the boys celebrating taking the lead for the first time in the game with Harrogate hearts sinking after a fighting performance.
