The girls’ team dominated with a 3-0 lead in the first six minutes, showcasing impressive teamwork and technical skill, led by Lilly Bielby’s five-goal performance, ultimately winning despite conceding two late goals.
The girls finally got what they have been to threatening to do for a while now. 3-0 after 6 minutes and never looked back. Barnsley brought some physical girls in for this one but were in effective after the slick football the girls were playing. Playing out from the back, across the back line into midfield then piercing balls breaking Barnsley at will. Some terrific football on show for the parents this evening. Conceded two girls towards the end which took the shine off but one was an unbelievable volley from wide keeper no chance.
Player of the game …… Lily bielby. Chipped in with 5 goals some quality deliveries and technical ability Barnsley had no answers.
