The team won solidly despite missing three players and incorporating two from the Development team, adjusting their strategy to a more direct approach against a tough East Riding, leading 3-0 at halftime and further improving in the second half to secure victory.
A solid win by the team today with 3 absentees from the squad, and 2 players from our Development team stepping in.
East Riding are a tough opposition physical and disruptive. The lads adjusted the style of play for this and went at them with a more direct approach putting the ball over the top and into space for our attackers to make opportunities in the 1st half and leading 3-0 at the break and within that our keeper in making 3 great saves and defence making 2 great blocks. 2nd half the lads upped the work rate and we played a little more using the ball much better. We eventually ran out winners and lads all upped performances in 2nd half.
