The team delivered an impressive performance, securing their first league win with goals from Edward Josling and Harry Walker, despite a tense final five minutes following a defensive lapse.
A commanding display this morning from the lads in challenging weather.
We started very brightly and created plenty of chances hitting the crossbar with one. Edward opened the scoring to give us the rewards for our efforts.
The strong start continued deep into the second half as we showed great ability to build up play and create more chances. Harry doubled our lead before the break with a lovely finish into the bottom corner from the edge of the box.
In the second half we didn’t create as many chances but stayed defensively solid throughout besides a lapse of concentration from a corner which gave us a nervy last 5 minutes
Overall, a great performance and nice way to get our first league win.
