Despite a promising start with early goals from Edward Josling and Jenson Andrews, some defensive lapses and energy levels playing vs older boys ultimately told losing to a strong performance by the 13s.
A tough morning where we started well looking solid in possession in our build up and pressing high to create our first goal. We continued our defensive solidity for 10-15 mins after the goal but after we conceded our first we gave away 2 more goals in quick succession making it difficult.
Just before a half time we snatched a goal to bring some energy into half time but a quick start from the 13s put us back on the back foot despite Jenson pressing well to get a 3rd goal.
Towards the end of the game we looked to lack the energy required which allowed the 13s to pull the score line away
Credit to them they did very well in the game and made it very difficult for us throughout

Player of the Match: Ref’s Man Of the Match – Seb Gaubet Worked very hard in midfield battling to win his 1v1s throughout the game. Very composed on the ball and helped us build up nicely. Well done Seb
