The RSSC U13 Devs defeated the RSSC U12 Devs 7-3 with a strong performance, focusing on exploiting wide areas and improving from last weekend’s disappointment, while Harry Grundy scored a hat-trick.

Another fantastic display of development football played in the right manner this morning
The 12s started the better side for 15/20 minutes, causing us problems with their press and high levels of intensity
We made a couple changes and asked the boys to settle more, and they did having a quick fire 3 goals in a 5 minute window, taking chances well.
Pegged back by a set piece to 3-2 at half time, we asked the boys to be more pragmatic in the way they played forwards. Instead of being purely direct could we exploit wide areas and get bodies into the box
This is exactly what happened, and we ended up comfortable winners in the end. Hitting the bar twice and having multiple chances either saves or put wide
Lots to work on for us, but good to see the boys get the result after a disappointing week last weekend
Well done to Corey and the 12s, never stopped working for one another
