RSG emerged victorious in a thrilling 4-3 match against Leeds, with Isla Churm scoring a hat-trick and Ava Lilly netting the winner, while Isla Ogg impressed with relentless pressing.
LEEDS 3 – 4 RSG
Another great start to the game taking an early 2-0 lead with both goals coming Isla Churm . The press was great and Leeds couldnt get out in the first half. Some sloppy defending let them pull one back before half time.
Second half started slow, we switched off from a throw in and conceded another. 2-2 the score didn’t reflect the game, we missed a lot of chances and should have been well in front. The girls did so well not to let their heads drop and soon deserved to go back in front with Isla Churm getting her hatrick. Disappointed again to concede after we were in total control but again the girls drove forward and got the winner with a great long range finish from Ava . Super proud of the girls, Leeds are always a good strong team.
GOG – Isla Ogg set the press from the front and won the ball constantly high up the field, driving us forward, she was very unlucky not to get on the score sheet as well tonight.
