????????RSS 1-York 3????????
Match Summary:
We started the game slowly, struggling to connect our passes in the first half. We didn’t win the first or second balls, which allowed York to take control and be the better team during that period.
However, the boys came out strong after halftime, responding well to the instructions given during the break. Their improved energy and execution paid off when Eesa scored the equalizer ⚽️, finishing from a rebound off our free kick.
In the final 10 minutes, the coaches decided to shift from our 4-1-4-1 formation to our traditional 4-4-2.
Unfortunately, this adjustment played into York’s hands, as they began winning more battles in midfield and switching play effectively.
Their #10 — a strong and quick striker, started dropping deeper to create space and making runs behind our defense, which led to two quick goals within five minutes.
Despite the result, Jude was fantastic in goal today ????, making several key saves and showing great composure throughout the match.
