The team faced challenges with physicality playing a year up, resulting in a loss despite two excellent goals from Edward Josling and Jenson Andrews, as they aim to improve for next week.
A disappointing result in a game where the main difference was physicality. These are the challenges we will face playing up a year each week and we have to be ready to meet them head on.
In the first half we started well, especially in the first 20 minutes and looked threatening going forward. We scored 2 very good goals from high quality finishes. However, we conceded two sloppy goals as a result of not defending our penalty area well.
Second half, we never really got going and looked a bit battered and bruised at times. As a unit we have to defend better and this involves everyone. We could have had another goal too but the post prevented that one after excellent play down the right side.
However, we’ll dust ourselves down and go again next week, trying to improve on how we played today.
