The U11’s team defeated the U10’s in their Saturday league match, with Jack earning player of the match for the U10’s despite their struggle to handle the U11’s long balls and tempo gave it their all.
The U10’s and U11’s development teams faced off at the Phoenix in their Saturday league encounter.
U10’s player of the match was Jack, well battled pal.
It was just one of those mornings for the U10’s with a lot of the lads not on their game and we just didn’t get going as a team. After an even start in the first 15 or so minutes the 11’s stepped it up, ultimately we didn’t deal with the long balls over the top and the tempo from the older boys in the latter stages in particular.
Well done to the U11 side and we go again next week.
